Recent photos of the nearly-completed distribution facility reveal its true size.

There was much to be made of the proposal and approval of a 1-million-square-foot distribution center on an industrial zone abutting a Rainbow neighborhood, but the building's contruction may bring the scope of the project into perspective for some.

Simply put, the building has transformed the neighborhood. Not only has traffic and noise related to operations increased, but the building towers over homes in the area.

But the question remains: Is Dollar Tree too big?
