ING Gets New Retirement CEO

Maliz E. Beams is the new retirement chief at the Windsor-based company.

The Hartford Business Journal reported last week that ING Insurance U.S. has named Maliz E. Beams to be the new CEO of Windsor-based ING Retirement.

According to ING, Beams will be resonsible overseeing ING Retirement Services and ING Individual Retirement, the company's "growing customer-focused retail retirement business."

Beams comes to ING from TIAA-CREF, where she served as president and CEO of the company's individual and institutional services and founded the company's wealth management business, and relaunched private-assets management and insurance products.
