Bart's owner Don Trinks welcomed Windsor Patch behind the lunch counter for a look at one of the most famous menu items in town.




Bart's owner Don Trinks said it best when he welcomed me behind his famous counter on Palisado Avenue recently: some of the greatest signs of spring are the garage doors open at Bart's and families spending time by the riverside.

Having spent many weekend mornings fishing with my grandfather alongside Bart's as a young boy, I couldn't agree more. And with temperatures warming up, there are few things more fitting than the celebration of what is arguably the quintessential Windsor meal: Bart's famous chili dog.
