Griffin Land Back in the Black

After an extended period of reported losses, Griffin Land has reported a first quarter in the black.

Despite flat revenues, Windsor Landowner Griffin Land & Nurseries recently reported a first quarter in the black, according to the Hartford Business Journal.

Griffin, owner of land Dollar Tree, Inc. hopes to turn into a new distribution center, reported a net loss of more than $.5 million in the fourth quarter, ending December 2011, HartfordBusiness.com reports.

Locally, Griffin Land had been the topic of much discussion. Dollar Tree representatives revealed the establishment of a non-disclosure agreement between the two companies, making them legally unable to release results of pesticide and soil testing conducted on Griffin land on Stone Road.
