Tomato Growing Contest

The third annual Tomato Growing Contest will take place at the Windsor Farmers’ Market on August 9 at 3:30 PM.  Free food demonstration and tasting by Zocco’s Restaurant will begin at 3:15, followed by the weigh-in to determine the heaviest tomato.  Cash prizes will be awarded by Homewatch Caregivers to the top 3 heaviest entries. The public is invited to attend.  Contest entry is free and limited to Windsor residents age 55 or over.  Call the Windsor Senior Center at 860-285-1992 for additional information.
