Boutique Opening; Feb. 17 @ Hot Rock & Dye; 6 p.m.
Hot, Rock & Dye plans to show off its new boutique Friday night with an evening of cocktails and snacks. Forget about just hair, the shop will now be retialing clothes, jewelry, cosmetics, handbags and more. The opening will be held from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. on Fri., Feb. 17 at Hot, Rock & Dye.
Seafood Lover's Night; Feb. 17 @ Dom's; 5 p.m.

Proceeds from Friday night's dinner will benefit "Chip in for a Cure" to aid breast cancer research. The three-course meal is BYOB, $16.95 per person, and the menu is as follows:

Red Tail Heart; Feb. 18 @ Windsor Public Library
This first novel by author Kenneth Williams will be discussed at the libary from 1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. The author will be on hand for a book signing. This event is free.
The Guggenheim Grotto play Coffeehouse Series; Feb. 18 @ Northwest Park
Northwest Park's Coffehouse music series continues Saturday night when The Guggenheim Grotto pass through town. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. Described as a Dublin art-folk duo, the duo are scheduled to perform a set of acoustic folk-pop tunes.
Tickets can be purchased through the Northwest Park website.
Free Skating; Feb. 19 @ Loomis Chaffee
Loomis' Savage Rink will be open for free skating Sunday. Open hockey skating is from 1:15 p.m. - 2:15 p.m. (helmets and facemasks required). Free skating (no sticks or pucks permitted) will be held from 2:15 p.m. - 3:15 p.m.
