WINDSOR SUMMER CONCERT HOSTED BY
CARMON COMMUNITY FUNERAL HOMES & THE CARMON FAMILY
WINDSOR, CONN. August 15, 2011 – Members of the staff of Carmon Community Funeral Homes and the Carmon Family were on hand to welcome local residents with refreshing slices of watermelon when they hosted a free concert on the Windsor Town Green. On a warm August evening, the Farmington Valley Band provided the sounds, led by Musical Director and Conductor Sam Hudak, who also is a funeral director with Carmon Community Funeral Homes.

The 2011 Concerts on the Windsor Town Green continue this Thursday, August 18 at 7 p.m. with “Freedom Trail Gospel Explosion” and on Thursday, August 25 with “Skyway”. The free concerts are presented by the Windsor Chamber of Commerce and First Town Downtown. Concert-goers are asked to bring a nonperishable food item with them to donate to the Windsor Food Pantry.
