Reading and Book Signing by Artist Jerry Barry

Dimensions, Works by artist Jerry Barry, will be on display until November 5th. According to the Windsor Art Center Web site, "A multifaceted artist, teacher, philosopher, and social commentator, artist Jerry Barry creates in a wide range of styles and portrays subjects steeped in his heritage as a Guyanese and in his years living in the United States. Whether on small or large scale canvases, whether painted with brush or palette knife, Mr. Barry’s use of color, light, and textural techniques creates the illusion of a third dimension that invites the viewer into the context of the painting."

On the last day of the show, Saturday, November 5, at 2 p.m., a Reading and Book Signing will take place. Viewers will be treated to Mr. Barry's reading from his newly published books, which include lessons for life as well as images and anecdotes about the inspiration for his paintings in the Parks and Transitions series.
