Concert on the Green

First Town Downtown and the Windsor Chamber of Commerce invite you to the summer concert series. Below is the list of performers for this summer:

• July 7 - 7 p.m. - All-Star Dyn-O-Myte Disco Review in Memory of Dan Hanlon, Sponsored by ING
• July 14 - 7 p.m. - Tirebiter Band, Sponsored by CBT & Konica Minolta Business Solutions
• July 21 - 7 p.m. - Nifty Fifties, Sponsored by Windsor Federal Savings
• July 28 - 7 p.m. - Maestro Men, Sponsored by Grimshaw Tree Service, Hot Pepper Promotions Co., First Church Early Learning Center, Day Hill Kennels, Price Chopper, Windsor Federal Savings, NoJunkMail.net LLC, Johnson, Dowe, Brown & Barbarotta
• August 4 - 7 p.m. - Farmington Valley Band, Sponsored by Carmon Funeral Homes
• August 11- 7 p.m. - Cover Story, Sponsored by Kimberly Hall
• August 18 - 7 p.m. - "Freedom Trail Gospel Explosion," Sponsored by Bill Selig Ford, Bill Selig Jewelers, Central Street Antiques, Kennadi's Closet Children's Consignment Shop

If it rains the concert will be re-scheduled for the following Tuesday.

Make it a Special Thursday by enjoying a dinner at one of Windsor's quaint restaurants. Shop at the Farmers' Market and local shops. Arrive early for "Read on the Green," presented by the Early Childhood Council. This event will feature a story time for families with young children prior to the weekly Thursday evening summer concerts at 6:15 p.m. on the Town Green. After the story time children will receive a free book.
