After five years with Sam Hinckley at the helm, the Windsor Art Center has announced a new president.
Well-known photographer and Windsor residents Wayne Dombkowski is taking the baton from Hinckley.
"Sam guided the art center during its infancy and is stepping aside, leading the organization in a good position," said Domkowski, adding that Hinckley's departure occurs with the the art center in a healthy financial position, and with strong programming.
The Art Center will celebrate its fifth anniversary in September, something Dombkowski says he's excited to celebrate.
The Art Center is also looking to revitalize its space at the half-decade mark with the help of funds provided by a new state grant.
Two new directors were also added to the Art Center's board.
Windsor Federal Savings Vice President Mark Walker and the Connecticut Science Center Community Porgarm Coordinator Amy Sailor will begin their terms this year.
