Watch Record-Setting Rocket Launch in Windsor on Tuesday, November 19

NASA's OSR-3 mission will put nearly 30 satellites into orbit, and you'll be able to watch the show Tuesday night.

Weather permitting, you’ll have the opportunity to stop where you are tonight in Windsor, look up to the sky, and catch a glimpse of a rocket launch like none other in history, according to Space.com

Tonight’s Minotaur rocket launch will set a record for satellites sent into orbit from NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility (Wallops Island, Va.).

A total of 29 satellites are expected to be put into orbit, and will be visible as far north as southern Canada and as far south as Florida, Space.com reports.

You can watch the launch live on Space.com, but it’ll probably far more memorable if you’re able to spot the launch in the local night’s sky.

Fortunately for local residents, tonight’s sky forecast says the sky over Enfield will be both darker and clearer than an average night throughout the course of the year.

The rocket is scheduled to launch “sometime during a two hour launch window that opens at 7:30 p.m.” It’ll be a little chilly, so, if you plan on watching the night sky, bundle up, as temperatures are expected to dip into the upper 20’s.
