Union Street Reports Huge Tavern Trot Success
To date, the tavern has raised more than $80,000 in the fight against childhood cancer.
The Union Street Tavern is sending out a big thank you to its supporters for helping make the 6th annual Tavern Trot a huge success.
The annual event drew a record number of runners and walkers (750) and pushed the event's total monetary support of Alex's Lemonade Stand to $85,000.
The Tavern Trot was new and improved this year, with the 3.5 mile course being USATF certified and serving as a qualifier for the popular Manchester Road Race.

Each runner or walker's time was accurately calculated by the first-time use of electronic chip timers, which mark the exact moment a participant crosses the start and finish lines.
