Shad Derby Parade, Kiwanis 5K, and WHS Senior Prom

1. According to the National Weather Service, there is a chance of showers after 11 a.m. with areas of fog before 9 a.m. It will be partly sunny with a high temperature around 77 with a low of 54.
2. The Windsor Kiwanis Club is hosting their Annual 5K Shad Derby Road Race tomorrow at 10 a.m. The 5K run and 2.5K walk will begin and end at the Elm and Broad Street intersection in Windsor Center. Registration will start at 8:45 on race day.
3. Just the same as every year, Shad Derby Day will feature great cooks, crafters, clowns, balloon vendors and other great activities on the Green. Organized by the Windsor Jaycees, there will be plenty of games and interesting things for all ages. This event takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

4. Kaelyn Moore, 2011 Shad Derby Queen was chosen out of 13 contestants and won her crown at the Shad Derby Coronation Ball, hosted by the Windsor Junior Women’s Club. You can see the queen during the Shad Derby Parade on her float, created every year by the Civitan Club of Windsor.
5. Seniors at hold their tonight at the . Patch wishes the members of the Class of 2011 a fun and safe evening.
