The Clinton Dog Park announced the event on Facebook, inviting pet lovers to attend:

"After nearly two years of planning and hard work, the Clinton Dog Park Committee has fulfilled the dream of opening a dog park in Clinton. Please join us along with your canine companions to help us celebrate this long-awaited and exciting event!"

The park is located at 151 Glenwood Road in Clinton.

Thank you, "supporters," and thanks for 'getting' what a dog park is all about.... ;-)

I will be moving to Old Saybrook soon and have two Siberian Huskies. Is this park open to people from other towns like the ones in my area here in Rocky Hill?

Can anyone inform me why it is called "Bailey's"? Thank you,

Hi Josh, Bailey participated in a major fund-raiser for the park. Sadly, Bailey passed away during the creation of the park and the park committee members wanted to honor his memory by re-naming it after him.

Yes, Niko, the park is open to all, not just Clinton residents!
