“PUTTING THE GARDEN TO BED”

The Windsor Garden Club is proud to present “Putting the Garden to Bed”. In this presentation, Marci Martin will discuss all aspects of what needs to be done in the Fall to put our gardens to bed for Winter.  She will focus on efforts completed in the Fall having positive effects on our gardens in the Spring.  She will cover pruning, mulching and other aspects of maintenance.   Marci is a Windsor resident, has served two terms as the President of the Connecticut Rose Society and is the consulting Rosarian for the American Rose Society.  Light refreshments and beverages will be provided starting at 6:30 pm. Marci will begin her talk at 7:00 p.m. After the presentation, we will have updates from our committees and review any new business. Please RSVP to Laura at 860-305-7603 if you are planning to attend.
