The morning’s presentations include“Let Your Voice Be Heard: Sound Systems for the JP”; “What Every
Professional JP Should Know”; and “What Are My Services Really Worth?,” a talk on pricing.

Barbara Jay, Justice of the Peace Association co-founder, is delighted that Peter Merry will be a guest speaker.
“Peter’s dynamic presentation is a real treat, usually reserved for wedding planners. His talk will complement the others, giving attendees an engaging and well-rounded day!”

The aura of the Capitol is fitting for this jam-packed event. Other activities include a mock wedding ceremony networking, gifts for all all-day attendees and JP products for sale.

Because Peter Merry is making this stop in Connecticut on his tour across the country, non-JP wedding
planners and professionals are invited to attend the afternoon session at a reduced rate. He is scheduled
to speak at 1:30 p.m. on the topic, "Better Consultations Bring Better Bookings." This interactive talk is designed to help all wedding professionals increase their wedding business and boost their confidence in effectively communicating why their services are the best.

The cost for JP Association members is $40, non-members $45, if paid in advance. The cost for everyoneon the day of the event is $50. The fees include all events and both breakfast and lunch. A discounted rate of $35 is for non-JPs arriving at 1:30 for just the afternoon presentation.

The events will take place
in Room 301 at the Capitol Building, 210 Capitol Ave, Hartford. Questions, or to register for the jpUS
