At the Windsor High School award ceremonies on Thursday night, three graduating seniors were recipients of $1500 scholarships from the Windsor Lions Club. Awarded the scholarships were Seamus Coleman (who will be attending UConn), Kaitlyn Ali (University of North Carolina School of Arts) and Amber Mips (Northwestern Connecticut Community College). Both Kaitlyn and Amber were contestants in this year's Shad Derby Queen pageant, with Kaitlyn earning the Queen's Crown. Seamus attended the pageant as an escort. The Windsor Lions heartily congratulate these deserving seniors and wish them all the best as they continue their pursuits of academic excellence.
