Windsor Lions Fall Arts & Crafts Fair Saturday, October 11th

Arts and Crafts Fair

The Windsor Lions Club will host its 23rd Columbus Day Arts and Crafts Fair on Saturday October 11th from 9 to 4 on the Windsor town green. Approximately 70 exhibitors will be on display, there is no admission fee and the Lions will be selling hamburgers, hot dogs, kielbasa, grilled cheese sandwiches, tomato soup, popcorn and soda throughout the day. The Windsor Lions Club donates proceeds from its fundraisers primarily to local charities and community activities. Some of the many programs that the Windsor Lions support are: free eye care to Windsor residents in need, the Connecticut Library for the Blind, eye research at Yale New Haven Hospital, Connecticut Radio Information Service (CRIS), scholarships for Windsor High School students, Windsor Public Library, FIDELCO, Windsor food and fuel banks and Northwest Park. Come have a great time at the Fair! And...if you want to find out more about the Windsor Lions...the members...the causes they support...just ask any Lion at the Arts and Crafts Fair. The fair is being held in conjunction with the Chamber of Commerce Chili Fest, so come on down to the green and join in the fun.
