The Connecticut Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Reminds Residents to Enjoy the Taste of Eating Right During National Nutrition Month

The Connecticut Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the leading advocate of the dietetic profession in the state and the source for food and nutrition expertise for the Connecticut consumer – is encouraging the public to participate in National Nutrition Month and “Enjoy the Taste of Eating Right.”

Each March, the Academy reminds Americans to return to the basics of healthy eating during National Nutrition Month. This year’s “Enjoy the Taste of Eating Right” theme focuses on combining taste and nutrition to create healthy meals and reinforce the Academy’s position to promote your overall health.

“The Academy strives to communicate the importance of making informed food choices and a lifelong commitment to healthful lifestyle behaviors,” said Judy Prager, President of the Connecticut Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. “As registered dietitians, it is important we emphasize sustainable and enjoyable eating practices and help consumers find the balance between choosing the foods we like with those that provide the nutrients we need.”
