Mrs. Lisa Blackwood, an SGS School Board member, represented Saint Gabriel School and Catholic Education during Senator Kissel's public access show, "Kissel and Friends" on February 3rd, 2014.
“My first experience "on-air" was a bit daunting, I must say, with sound-checks, 4 televisions cameras, a host of bright lights, and unscripted conversation,” Mrs. Blackwood said. She continued, “Despite this, I felt it important to represent our fine school and to promote the mission and goals of Catholic education to the Senator's TV community.”
Mrs. Blackwood was joined by various people representing the Catholic Schools in Enfield. All were energized by the success stories told on how well the Catholic Schools instill strong moral, spiritual and academic fortitude in their students during their K-8 years.
