GFWC Windsor Woman's Club - Robotics Demo

Members and guests in attendance at the GFWC Windsor Woman’s Club’s recent April meeting received a crash course in robotics, by three different teams of students (and their mentors), each of whom demonstrated and discussed the building challenges of their robots – Wall-E, (built by the Junior First Lego League team – students from K through 3rd grade) and Silver Scorpion (built by the First Lego League team – students from 7th through 12th grade) and Nemo (built by the FIRST Robotics Competition team – students from 9th through 12th grade). All 3 robots are pictured below in the order described.

The GFWC Windsor Woman’s Club is part of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs. The GFWC, started in New York in 1890 is one of the world’s largest and oldest nonpartisan, nondenominational women’s volunteer service organizations.
