GFWC Windsor Woman's Club - Real Estate Agent Presentation
Club members and guests of the GFWC Windsor Woman’s Club’s recent March meeting heard from member and real estate agent, Louise Lombardi, about steps in preparing homes for sale. Louise advised the audience that there are many businesses out there which can assist you in whatever project you want to tackle – from a simple decluttering project, (reach out to your family and friends and have them stop by and help themselves to an item or two – donate to local and area organizations that can share your abundance with others); to preparing your home for sale such as letting in as much light as possible by replacing heavy drapes with sheers, painting walls with light tones - both of which makes rooms look larger and minimalizing your imprint on your home, so buyers can see their belongs in what will be their home. It is also important to keep up on your home’s maintenance, such as: roofs, driveways, electrical and heating systems. When making repairs, keep your budget in mind and deal with the most urgent repair first. If making repairs it not feasible, you can adjust your home’s list price to reflect that and buyers can make an educated purchase.
The GFWC Windsor Woman’s Club is part of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs. The GFWC, started in New York in 1890, is an organization dedicated to community improvement through volunteering.
