The recent GFWC/CT May Convention was an opportunity for the state federation to award various clubs and members for their hard work over the past year.
The GFWC Windsor Woman's Club received 3 first and 5 second place awards.
The club was honored by being presented with the Ursula Kolb Casioppo Federation Awareness Gavel (presented to a club for their outstanding publicity efforts, relative to making its club activities known to the community as well as making the community aware of its affiliation with the GFWC/CT and the International General Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC)). Past State President, Ursula Kolb Casioppo presented the award to President, Lisa Miller.
