The GFWC Windsor Woman’s Club Annual Mums Sale is a sure sign that fall is just around the corner. This year you can order CT grown mum plants for the bargain price of 3 for $18.00. As always, the monies raised goes back into the community.
The GFWC Windsor Woman’s Club is part of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs. The GFWC, started in New York in 1890, is an organization dedicated to community improvement through volunteering.
To purchase and schedule a pickup time for the mum plants, please call 860-688-5678 or 860-298-0430; if you prefer to correspond by email, please use skiotan@aol.com or callanbev@live.com. Please include your color choice, which we will endeavor to honor. Friday, September 6th is the pickup date. If you are unable to schedule a pickup time for this date, we will also be on the town green, Saturday, September 7th from 9am-2pm; by the eagle statue (in front of the library).
GFWC WWC is open to women of all ages and meets the second Tuesday of each month, September through April at LP Wilson Community Center.
