Civial War Encampment at Northwest Park Country Fair

See how the soldiers from the 14th Connecticut Volunteer Infantry Company G lived while in the army during the civil war.  The Fourteenth Regiment began its service in 1862 participating in 34 battles and skirmishes before returning home to Hartford in May of 1864.  Using authentic equipment and wearing authentic uniforms, members will be at the fair all day to show and tell you their stories.

The fair takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on September 21 at Northwest Park in Windsor.  For complete information about the fair and directions to the park, check out the park website at www.northwestpark.org.
