Children enrolled in Windsor’s “Tree House” before- and after-elementary school childcare program at Poquonock School were treated to a visit from Tim Snelgrove of Snelgrove Florist. Snelgrove told the girls and boys about his job and helped them to decorate special wreaths. The wreaths then were donated to Windsor Social Services and presented to senior citizens who might be alone this holiday season.
Windsor’s Tree House before- and after-school program operates at all four of Windsor’s public elementary and intermediate schools. Children take part in enriching, hands-on activities, as well as snack and homework time.
