We are having our 3rd annual Designer Bag Bingo and raffle on Saturday, April 20, 2024. We will have fantastic bingo prizes AND our tea cup raffles will be bigger and better!  </p>
<p>$40 for 10 games &amp; a dauber. Teacup raffles are separate.&nbsp;Cash Bar but you are welcome to bring your own snacks! Ticket sales through April 2</p>

<p><strong><br></strong></p>
<p><strong><strong>Artist Bio:</strong> Kristopher Lionel attended the art program at Hartwick College in Oneonta, NY, where he received his BFA with a concentration in sculpture (graduating cum laude and being awarded Departmental Distinction in Art). He then enrolled in the postgraduate sculpture program at Washington University in St. Louis, MO, where he received his MFA. In school, Kristopher developed his interest and skills in wood and metalworking. After graduating, he moved to Atlanta, GA, where he worked as a metal fabricator. Applying this experience, Kristopher moved to his home state of Connecticut to launch a business designing and making artistic furniture. He ran his business until 2009 when he decided to close his furniture shop to focus singularly on his life’s purpose—to make art. His portfolio includes paintings, wall art, and sculpture. In April 2022, Kristopher’s painting, ‘Three Little Birds Hang By My Doorstep (The Happy War)’, was selected by juror Lily Wei to be included in the Silvermine Galleries’ centennial celebration exhibit, ‘Future Perfect/Imperfect: The Next Century’. <p>Think you know everything? Test your knowledge at the Shad Derby Trivia Contest on Thursday, April 25<sup>th</sup>, 2024 from 6-8 pm at the Windsor Historical Society. Teams of up to 6 members (age 21 and up only) can compete during five rounds of questions ranging from general knowledge to Windsor-specific facts. Prizes for contest winners, best team name, and more! The winning team will receive a $75 gift card compliments of Dom’s Broad Street Eatery, the so-gaudy-it’s-cool Shad Derby Trivia Trophy, and bragging rights for a full year. Enjoy local brews compliments of Back East Brewery and other tasty refreshments. Teams should register by April 18<sup>th </sup>-- space is limited. <p><em>Walking with the World features three artists who work in multiple mediums, often using found, natural, or handmade sources for their art.  The Windsor Art Center seeks to highlight each artist’s own take on how they find, transform, interpret and connect materials to the world, and vice versa.  Each has a mix of two- and three- dimensional pieces, and we’re hoping for an immersive experience for the audience, to be surrounded by different visions for wood, clay, and found materials.</em><br></p>
